Getting a refund from courier for damaged items
Summary: janeyfitness is frustrated after spending over an hour trying to resolve an issue where items sent to a buyer were damaged by a courier chosen by the buyer. Despite issuing a refund to the buyer, they are out of pocket and seeking guidance on how to claim against the courier. They have been redirected to an AI agent without success and are requesting to speak with a human agent for specific assistance.
I have spent the last hour and a half going round in circles, as a seller, I sent the items to the buyer, the courier chosen by the buyer damaged the items. I was asked for a refund which I paid, however I’m now out of pocket. I need to know how to claim against the courier, (Yodel InPost), every other time items have been damaged, e bay have dealt with it (simple delivery?) but not this time. I’ve been directed to an AI ‘agent’ and I’m simply not getting anywhere.
I need to speak with an agent for some specific direction. Not to be resisted to the help and contact page , which sets me off on the same damn roundabout - SO FRUSTRATING-

That was listed with Custom Postage, Inpost Store to Door, not Simple Delivery (Inpost with Simple Delivery is currently only Delivery to locker). If you purchased the postage on eBay then you will need to submit a claim through Packlink here.
