EBay using royal mail subcontracted to Amazon….oh dear..Specsavers..👀
Summary: shesellsbythestore shared their frustration with returning a parcel that was collected from their home. They described how multiple drivers failed to locate their address despite clear signs and a visible parcel, leading to unsuccessful collection attempts. The author noted that the drivers did not look up or down from eye level, which contributed to the confusion.
Tried to return a parcel, collected from my home.
Left advice :on safe place- in my wood store opposite my house.
I have a ring video doorbell sound and vision.
One Amazon driver walks up to my front door, roughly pulls up the decorative wreath to look for the number underneath(?!) Fails to see the number in the middle of the wreath AND on the door below that, or the ring doorbell.
Walks off without collecting.
Today, driver walks past my front door, speaks to the cottage opposite, at their back door, asks them if they are number 11, they say no they are 9 but fails to ask them where number 11 is( about ten feet away).
Also, where he’s standing to talk to them is right next to my wood store and 1 foot away from the visible parcel.
Walks off phoning his boss past my front door.
Get a message saying they’d tried to deliver but I wasn’t in. 👀
What I noticed was that neither of these drivers looked up or down from eye level.
