eBay support wants us all to commit customs fraud

This has always been buggy and before April, you would click "Add Services" and all of the saved data would miraculously re-appear.
That stopped working and you were then presented with this.
I have now been going backwards and forwards with the IT team for days and the upside is, eBay's suggested workaround is to actively commit customs fraud!
Anyone else having this type of issue?

·1 month agoTheres a twist to this, through my business ebay I sell to the US and since tariffs were introduced all my listings carry an ebay warning that tariffs are payable by the buyer in the US before the item can be delivered, this is completely wrong because with royal mail offsite postage I have to ship PDDP so I pay the tariffs with no way or charging them to the buyer, the ebay buyer help page on tariffs tells buyer only to use sellers that use GSP, they are using tariffs to drive more sales through an ebay service, as usual sellers from CHINA are exempt and there listings of item that they sell in the US say they include tariffs, typical support standard from ebay.

OP1 month ago · EditedI have created a calculator based on RM PDDP which means I calculate the whole shipping price upfront for the listing so I don't get lumbered with the tariff cost.
And yep, I knew they did that hence why this is now in all my descriptions:
FOR CUSTOMERS IN **** THE USA ****, WITH EITHER OPTION, YOUR TAXES / DUITES AND CUSTOMS TARIFFS ARE PRE-PAID SO THERE WILL BE NO SURPRISES ON DELIVERY.

·1 month agoEbay told me I should use the sub title feature on each listing to tell customers i ship PDDP but at £2.00 per month per listing theres no way im doing that, in some of my listings I have added this picture, you can use it if you want. I always message buyers to tell them I have paid the tariffs because there have been cases of USPS employees demanding money on delivery even though its been paid.
