what happened:bought a synthesizer for £750 was sent via eBay Simple Delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48)RM driver left it unattended on my porch without obtaining a signature, neither leaving a cardparcel was stolenfiled a police report immediatelyevidence I have:from Royal Mail written confirmation "am sorry to learn that your parcel was left on your doorstep. I understand the risk to the security of your mail if our delivery team do not follow our procedures. " - formal admission driver didn't follow procedurespolice reportphoto from Royal Mail showing parcel left unattended on porchwhat eBay has done:closed case three times citing "tracking shows delivered".three different agents gave contradictory advice one said ask the seller to claim from Royal Mail, another said case closed in seller's favouri called them again and they made auto-appeal on my behalf and closed itnow they refusing to get the royal mail letter, stating that the case is closed (i haven't had a chance to provide RM written letter yet)so how can ebay be trusted as a platform?under their own Simple Delivery T&Cs eBay is responsible for delivery outcomes - not the sellerroyal Mail's written admission invalidates the "delivered" tracking statusI paid a mandatory Buyer Protection Fee which eBay states covers items that don't arriveit's not signed delivery because of simple delivery
