Ebay postage estimates for 2nd class post need to change
Why does eBay give 2-3 day estimates for delivery of second class post? Royal Mail now only deliver second class post every other day and not on Saturdays so the chances of getting an item delivered in 2-3 days are slim to say the least. Please consider being more realistic with your estimates so customers don't get false hopes on when they might receive their items.

·1 week agoi think we are looking at 3 week delivery dates now . i refunded someone 2 weeks ago after they waited 15 days , asked them to wait 2 more days before refunding as i knew it was going slow eventually it showed up 3 days after the refund .
i won a court case on the 7 th and i had a letter on the 25 th that was sent out on the 10 th saying the defendant had until this week to pay so that took 15 days as well .
i have another buyer that has put in a claim for a coin that went by letter , posted out on the 12 th and still has not arrived yet , i asked them to wait 2 more days as i know it would be due any day

·1 week agoBecause according to ebay everything works like a Swiss watch with no variables whatsoever unless you pencil them in by extending your dispatch date because you don’t want to get a defect and royal mail aint working properly.

·1 week agoThe delivery aim/official target set by Ofcom is still 2-3 days/D+3, but excluding Saturdays. I do agree though that eBay should add extra to the delivery estimates whilst Royal Mail is still implementing the changes and until such time as the targets are actually being met by Royal Mail again. Royal Mail has pledged to meet the targets by April of next year so it will be interesting to see if they actually manage to achieve that.
