Ebay label overcharged
I sold an item, dimensions and weight were a postage of £2.94. I have sold similar items on the same postage charge. For some reason ebay generated a label for £5.96. Why? Can I challenge this? I only noticed it after the label was bought as postage has always been the same. Are they now cheating us out of postage as well?

·3 weeks agoIf it is the Shampoo it was listed with Evri Tracked on Custom Postage at £2.94 (I note most of your listings are Simple Delivery where ebay just supply a label - you don't in these instances buy postage).
With custom postage, you get the proceeds of the postage and then it is on you to purchase a label. You don't have to purchase via ebay.
ebay also tend to standardise in their shipping label purchase system to a more expensive label - there is often a button to 'show all postage options' where you can view cheaper labels. If you have purchased the label already - there is nothing to challenge.
