Delivery made, tracking says it’s still in the courier network
Buyer has confirmed receipt of an item, but the Royal Mail tracking is showing it still with them, it looks like it hasn’t been scanned for over a week. How do I complete the order?

If the item was sent with Simple Delivery, I'm afraid there isn't much that could be done until Royal Mail updates the tracking. However, you can consider the transaction as completed, and if your funds are being held, they will be released once Royal Mail updates the tracking, otherwise they will be automatically released after 14 days.

OP1 week agoNo, it was in a town, the Royal Mail tracking system has the item as being in the north west sorting hub. It’s been there since the day after I posted it (12/08/26). Iv read that others have complained about tracking not being updated for their items when packages go via this hub.
Messaged the buyer to say that I’ll chase it up and they confirmed it had been delivered within the anticipated delivery time.

·1 week agoSounds like postal operatives that cant be assed to put there PDA's back on the charging rack before they clock off so even if the delivery had been zapped it cant reconcile the drop before its timed out, RM is getting worse.
