Custom postage NOT offered to all.
many on here state "custom postage" in their replies.
private seller, simple delivery
listing a dvd, under £10, 24g, and the only service is large letter at 1kg.
custom postage is not offered to me NOR would I use it as items sent are not protected and I have more important things to do than chasing a service provider should item be lost in transit!

·2 weeks agoYou have to select an incorrect category (i.e. Lie) and then pray to the ebay tech debt gods.
It won't work, but that's what you have to do.

OP2 weeks agocustom postage is not offered to all and if it was I would not use it as simple delivery suits my needs. The thread centers on the assumption, by many on here that constantly push it, that it is! custom postage offers no protection.

It doesn't just appear for items under £20. It has to be in select subcategories (that ebay don't disclose bar the few noted above) and its on the basis that ebay believes the product might be large-letter sized and 100g or under.
This has been stated several times!

NOT THAT I AM COMPLAINING AS SIMPLE DELIVERY WORKS JUST FINE FOR ME.
people use terms, such as custom postage and yet that term does not appear on my posting pages
I think many on here have two accounts, one business and one private, hiding and complictating genuine posts by applying experiences from other accounts OR THEY ARE JUST CHURNING OUT MANURE
