Combined shipment labelling
I have sold 2 lots of treen to Netherlands via Global Shipping. I had agreed with buyer's request to combine shipment. Ebay has sent label instructions for each lot. How do I prove that the single shipment includes all items? Do I simply get the label for the second lot and discard it?

The customer isn't going to get a refund - as they paid ebay for the international shipping element.
Send them separately as each item will have a unique verificaiton number that ebay use to verify the international portion of the journey.
If you send both in one box - all that will happen is the second order will look like it never got sent and I'd assume the customer would be refunded in full for that order - and it would likely come out of your funds.

·Aug 17, 2026 at 7:32 AMUnder Simple Delivery rules, for combined postage the buyer needs to first place all items into their basket before paying. Then, at eBay checkout they'd see combined postage and one label with tracking for you to cover both items.
As they didn't do this, if you send them under one label, you'll have no proof one was sent, and one item's payout will be delayed to you for 14 days.
A refund is sent to whoever paid for the SD label:
If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
Best way forward with the buyer's permission is to cancel the order citing Buyer requests to Cancel.
This fully refunds the buyer, and your seller performance is not affected.
Then, relist the items together on one listing, for the buyer to buy and pay again.

I'm not however sure if a breakdown of postage costs is even presented to the end customer when it refers to global shipping.
