2 products in 1 box
I just sold to separate listings to the same person, so i put the 2 items in the same box and used one of the the 2 postage labels, buyer paid for postage,
how do i give the postage back to buyer for the second item and how do i show i have posted second item as i will not get the payment through?

·4 days agoI had a similar problem as I sold two items but one was custom postage. Customer service said I could post them together using the simple delivery label. As I had received the money for the custom postage I refunded that. I copied and pasted the tracking number for the label and both were marked as delivered. There was a small risk had the parcel been damaged or lost in transit that ebay would have only covered one item. I thought it was worth the risk.

·4 days agoIf there were sold as separate transactions with separate postage costs - then ebay expect them to be sent separately.
as it is - the two items were both sold with Simple Delivery Buyer Pays. You yourself cannot give any postage back to the buyer - as you didn't get any money for postage in the first place - ebay did. ebay will refund the buyer the cost of any unused Simple Delivery labels in 30 days.
Regards your second point - you can't show the second item has been posted or delivered as don't have a tracking ID to provide.
You will get paid - but will need to wait 14 days past the last estimated delivery date (not withstanding any longer payment holds (for example - for new sellers)).
If the buyer opens up a claim for item not received for the second item - you might have an issue as you wouldn't have any evidence of sending the item.
