Payout method
Trying to change my payout method
Gone through logging on my bank account and verification,which it completes,then it transfers me back to eBay.
Asks me to 'click box to confirm bank details'
I click the box,then nothing happens, look on my eBay account,and nothing has changed.
Done this about 5 times

·6 days agoNot an isolated issue. Delibrate hoarding of funds. Awful company. Use vinted instead or FB marketplace

·2 weeks agoI have had this issue as I have just changed banks. Adding it as an additional card to my business account was easy but it would not accept the details on my private account.
I logged in to my new bank several times and used a pin sentry to get a code each time. It would not be verified. I tried to scan the QR and nothing happened.
I have managed to solve it by requesting micro deposits and they have just come through after 2 days and it has worked!

Can I just confirm that you are trying to add a current account? Also, when you say nothing happens, what do you mean exactly? The page goes blank? Or are you being taken back to the home page, and your changes do not take effect? Or you get some sort of error or message?

So after I verify my bank on my banking app,it takes me back to the eBay app,and the message on the screen says
'click box to confirm I am the sole person to authorise direct debit' or something to that affect.
I click the box and it just stays there and does nothing

I was checking for you, and it looks like you have both payout method and selling costs method set up no problem, and I cannot see any requirements for you to verify, maybe it is already sorted for you? However, if it isn't, can you try doing it again from the browser rather than doing it from the app? You can try what @cobwebcottage have said above as well to see if that helps.

·6 days agoHad this exact issue (using mobile tried two different accounts got same result)
I then tried a 3rd account, which not many people could even do - online via the desktop web browser - this time again everything went as it should until the final screen when I got an error on the ebay site saying "we ran into a problem. Please try later".
Disgusting from Ebay - I 100% believe they are making payouts hard to profiteer - basically stealing. Just like they are doing forcing everyone to pay 12% to market their listings or not get viewed. I'm off to vinted.
