Hi, can anyone advise on the following please?
I have sold 2 seperate items on ebay when payment was made i had to download 2x postage labels to get the adress where to send them. I posted myself seperatly using royal mail tracked i didnt want to use the ebay postage. The buyers have received the items and are happy. But the tracking numbers on ebay say are wrong and they say the items have yet to be posted. How do i get my money off ebay?

Just to clarify and help you from going through this again in the future, if your item qualifies for Simple Delivery, but you choose to not use the labels provided by us, you wont be able to update the tracking details, and because of that, the funds will remain on hold for 14 days even if the separate label you purchased shows the items delivered or even if the buyer confirms delivery or leaves positive feedback.
The system will only show the details of the label we provide, not the one purchased externally, and you'd only be able to upload the external label if the buyer files an item not received case, then you would be able to upload that to cover yourself.
Unless you don't wish to use Simple Delivery, I'd recommend using the labels we provide, so your funds can be released quicker. Also, if the item gets lost or damaged in transit, we would refund the buyer on your behalf, and you still get to keep the funds of the transaction, so in terms of protection, it is also very beneficial for you as a seller.
