EBay refund the buyer as you are with holding the funds
Summary: mark260683 is experiencing an issue with eBay as their buyer requested a refund due to misunderstanding the pickup option over delivery. They cannot issue a refund because eBay is holding the funds, and their bank account lacks sufficient funds. They are requesting eBay to release the funds to the buyer and also express confusion over charges applied to their account. Additionally, they wish to close their account once the refund is processed.
EBay my buyer ask for a refund and they miss read the pickup part and not delivery so I can’t send a refund as I have no money in my bank account also eBay as got the money as they are holding it for me to withdraw I can’t do that as the buyer wants there money back so eBay please release the funds to the buyer and resolve this problem Thankyou also I didn’t understand the charges that were billed to me for selling the item so eBay need to release the funds back to the buyer and after that is done close my account down Thankyou in advance 😞

·1 week agonot how it works. If the buyer is cancelling prior to you posting the item - you need to refund the customer (which will either come from your ebay funds or your linked bank account) and you will eventually still get paid once the payment clears.
Its just how ebay do it - unfortunately they don't make this clear.
