Ebay holding my money hostage, what do I do?
Summary: themlga_0 sold an item on eBay for $100 but faced issues with setting up payment methods for selling costs. Their debit card was not accepted, and their bank account was deemed ineligible, despite past successful payouts. Customer support suggested getting a credit card, which is not feasible for them. fargvs advised contacting an EU-based or the international eBay site for assistance.
So I made a sale here on ebay and got 100$ out of it, and now I'm attempting to get my payout. But, when I try setting up a payment method for selling costs, my debit card that works for purchases fails to verify for selling costs and is not accepted? My bank account is ineligible for selling costs too for some reason even though I had no problem getting payouts in the past. What do I do? I contacted support and they said I should apply for a credit card, but this is not an option at this time, plus I do not need a credit card at all. Am I just going to have to take the loss and never sell on ebay again?

·1 week agoI am also having the same problem-nothing to do with our bank accounts or cards-it is an Ebay problem which is dragging on. I spoke with an agent today and was told to add a new debit card-don't have one don't need one-can't add one either. Spoke with my Bank no issues there either-it is definitely an Ebay glitch. I am now being pestered to pay my selling fees which i am unable to do because my previously valid payment method will no longer verify. Frustrating isn't the word.
