i wish ebay would make people who haven't bought an item for several months pay immediately when they win an auction or have an offer accepted . I had a buyer win an item they hadn't bought anything for the last 6 months and didn't have many feed back and then never paid and didn't answer my reminder message either .Then today I have had an offer from some one in usa ,I accepted the offer ,and then when i look at their feed back they haven't purchased anything in the last 12 month so they will probably be a non payer .If ebay were making people pay immediately rather than allowing them to not pay ,it would be so much better and stop the non payers . It wastes sellers time and the item is sat for the next 4 days before it can be relisted, and in the mean time other people who were watching the item have dissapeared .

·3 weeks agoYou can set up your Buyer Rules to require buyers to provide a payment method (pre-authorised payment) when making a bid or offer if you wish. Payment is then taken automatically if the buyer wins or their offer is accepted, so no having to wait 4 days to cancel if they don't pay.
Items that you have accepted an offer on remain available to others until the buyer has paid anyway.
