If you wanted it delivered faster, you could have asked the seller if they could post it with next day delivery. This would undoubtedly cost you more in postage.
Sellers are reliant on postal services and sometimes there are delays which we cannot control.
As said, you had the option to open an INR case after the expected delivery date.
Have a bit of patience, this is not a Prime service unless you are prepared to pay for it.
The money back guarantee says that items delivered after the expected delivery date count as not as described but I have never seen an example of this being used.
We can't advise you without knowing exactly what you did and why your claim was refused.
You’ve already been provided the correct answer, but the issue was the reason for the return. Presumably you purchased from a private seller and you chose a change of mind reason which meant they could reject it.
Only option really is now to sell it yourself.
I wouldn’t think you could go to your payment provider as you did get the item.
And that's where you went wrong. It's the MBG that covers late items. Change of mind returns, which is what 'unwanted' means, are not covered by the MBG, hence the rejection.

·2 weeks agoOnly 2 reasons why eBay would not refund you in this case.
One, that you opened the case too late, that is you went over the timeline of claiming within the item's last estimated date for delivery.
Or, if you were in time, you may have entered the wrong reason. You needed to select Item not as described / item did not match description.
