Zero feedback buyer
I just sold an item worth £150 to a zero feedback buyer who registered on ebay today. I feel like I am about to scammed. Thoughts?

You and I bought started with a 0 feedback.
That member might have registered purely to look for the item you were selling.
Have they paid? Then send it tracked .As a Private seller you should be using Simple Delivery , whereby if the item is lost or damaged in transit eBay refund the buyer and you get to keep the payout.
SD insures items up to £750 with few exemptions .

Mentor3 weeks agoSelling high value items, I fully understand the worry involved, but truly you are just as likely to be scammed by a high feedback member, than one with no feedback and a new account.
Have they paid?

OP3 weeks agoYes of course, I am still a sentient being and can still choose to cancel the order and take the account strike rather than risk becoming the victim of a returns scam. I have however decided to honor the sale and trust the process. I have documented everything and marked the item to identify it as that sent in the case of a return scam attempt. I tank you for your input.
