I tried to use Gixen Sniper to purchase an electric mitre saw, and had the winning amount covered but no bid was made. I received this message from Gixen "You are not eligible to bid on this item", therefore Gixen was unable to bid.
The reason Gixen gave was "Unfortunately eBay does not provide that information to Gixen. All that is provided back is \"You are not eligible to bid on this item due to seller restrictions.\""
Does anyone have any idea what these restrictions are?

with sniping it is too late,
have you tried adding CC to sniper as payment method.

OP11 months agoGixen doesn't hold any payment details, it just lodges the bid, payments are then managed in eBay. It appears that sniping is not an option on age restricted listings. It would be helpful if the listing showed that age verification was required.
I would rather not use my CC in eBay but appears that it is the only way to prove you are 18. Its disapointing that eBay doesn't accept other options, like passport or driving license.
Anyway, thanks for your help on this.
