Wrongly addressed item returned - Do I have to refund?
I sold 2 items last week. The post office somehow put each others labels on the items. One buyer has returned the item not meant for them. The other buyer is in the process of sending their item back. I have refunded one of the buyers because they no longer want their original item. How can I send the remaining item on to its original intended destination when I get it back. I'm only seeing that I have to refund them and then presumably they have to pay again and then I send it out. Is there no way around this and I just post it out? (Hope this makes sense to someone and they can offer any helpful advice). Regards, Lee

Mentor10 months agoIt depends on what the current state of the transaction is. If the buyer opened a "not as described" return you should probably proceed with that, issue refund and relist for them to buy again.
