Wrong name

I ordered an item and I thought it wasn’t delivered. I contact the seller and they sent the delivery confirm thing they had
The item was delivered through Amazon and in their name. It was left on the doorstep. One of my flatmates mentioned it but it wasn’t my name and I wasn’t expecting anything through Amazon so my flatmate contacted Amazon and decided to bin the item.
I have told the seller this, but they have not replied.
Is there anything I can do?
I feel like it being send not in my name makes it their fault I didn’t receive the item not mine
