Wrong item delivered
Hi,
I didn't receive my item, Evri have delivered someone else’s item to me instead. I think they put the wrong address label on the parcel. I don't know what to do to sort this out. Unable to contact Ebay. Any ideas please?

Mentor1 month agoOpen a return using the reason "Item didn't match description" via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your purchase history page. If necessary escalate it after 3 complete working days.

Thanks for the swift reply. I still want my item, but I will be asked to return the incorrect item.
If I return the item through ebay, the wrong seller will receive the returned item because Evri put the wrong delivery address label on it. So, it will go back to the wrong person.
I don't know if this incorrect item was bought through ebay.

Mentor1 month agoThe bottom line is you bought an item on ebay and you received something else. You can only deal with the issue relating to the item you bought. ebay won't get involved with anything more complicated.

Mentor1 month agoChances are that someone else has the wrong item and will have the same problem, but items must go back to seller, who may then send to the correct buyers.

OP1 month agoI appreciate all the advice, thank you. If I return this item to the seller they will not know who to send it to. The seller did not sell the item I have received.
