Worth reporting mildly obnoxious seller?
Two weeks ago I purchase a phone for £650. The seller contacted me afterwards to say the postage I'd selected wasn't enough to pay to send it insured, although they were at fault for not choosing the correct postage value when making the listing.
After some back and forth they agreed to just pay the extra £5 out of their pocket. The item arrived the next day, and I left positive feedback thinking that was the end of it.
They then contacted me asking me to contact eBay as their funds were on hold due to the tracking number for the original postage being wrong. I did and eBay said as I'd left positive feedback the funds would be released regardless.
A week later and they've sent ten more messages regarding this. I've contacted eBay again who have told me the seller will need to contact eBay and there isn't anything I can do, which I've told the seller. They have responded that they've already been in touch, that if the funds aren't released soon I'll (???) need to contact eBay, and they will be contacting their solicitor.
I haven't responded and am considering just blocking, but does this also look like it's worth reporting? At the very least it's unprofessional, but it feels slightly threatening to say they'll talk to their solitor if I don't solve a problem that is between themselves and eBay.

Mentor6 months agoThey sound inexperienced otherwise they'd know there's nothing you can do and it's down to ebay. They're panicking as it's a lot of money but they will get it eventually. I wouldn't report them but as said don't reply again. The bit about a solictor is an empty threat.

Mentor6 months agoBuyers can't mark as received.
As they didn't use ebay label, they have to wait 14 days for payment.
If new seller, can be longer.
Do not reply anymore.
