Worst November in Years ???
I'm sure its not just me but so far this November has been the worst for sales since I started. Its not just ebay its other platforms as well , so am I just trying to selling stuff nobody wants or is it something else. Pricing is competitive and images are decent. I end old listings and send out offers and promote but nothing is working. November is suppose to be the busy time of the month but so far it been one of the worst. I don't think it helps that when a buyer searches for an item 5000 listings show up but when they click UK only suddenly 500 appear. Far to many Chinese sellers flooding ebay UK making it impossible for UK based sellers to show high up in the search.

OP9 months agoThis is one reason ebay is in decline. Ive typed in girls unicorn bag and 3300 results show. Filter this to UK only sellers and its 1300 so 2000 listings from outside the UK . With that many overseas sellers on ebay UK you have next to no chance of showing up in the first 100 listings.

·10 months agoI am a small scale private seller but it's the same here.
I sold one item last week and the buyer didn't pay; I have no bids this week on items ending tomorrow.
A lot of my low cost items would make lovely gifts or 'stocking fillers'.
Last year was quiet but this year is dire.
Because I am selling off a collection, I do have fewer items for sale than I have had in previous years but I know my pricing is not an issue.
I am lucky that Ebay is not my livelihood - it is clear that a lot of business sellers are struggling to sell this year.
