Won auction, seller cancelled without explanation — next steps?

Hi all, I’m looking for advice on what to do as a buyer.
I won an auction / had my bid accepted for a phone, but the seller cancelled the order without any warning or explanation. I messaged the seller politely to ask why, but they haven’t replied.
Could someone advise:
What’s the correct next step for a buyer in this situation?
Is there a way to report the seller for cancelling without notice and not responding?
Where do I submit a complaint (if applicable), and will eBay take any action such as a strike on the seller?
If I leave feedback, will it still be visible if the order was cancelled?

Mentor5 months agoThis is bad selling. If the seller has selected the reason, ' Buyer requests to Cancel', this is because it avoids a damaging defect for their account. They are not giving you a reason for cancelling my guess would be the auction didn't finish on a price they liked, easily avoided if they just listed it starting at the lowest amount they'd be happy to receive.
No one can force a seller to sell an item, but you can if you wish contact eBay Customer Services, explain the reason quoted for the cancellation is untrue , you did not authorise the cancellation, and you were disappointed not to receive your item. CS will review the case and may place that damaging defect on their account. You will not know of any, if any, action will be taken.
It's not easy to get a Call Back option from CS, but peeps say it is possible on the app or mobile browser with this link.
