Winning buyer cancelled the auction after it had ended

This has happened to me a couple of times. Can't believe it? Why is it allow to happen.
Never used to be like this, when I used to list my items as an auction. It was difficult to the winning buyer to back out and you were allowed to leave negative feedback and there was the threat suspension if there were further non-payment instances.
Over 20 years as a Ebay seller and things have never been this bad. Ebay's Terms and Conditions completely favour the buyer.

The false positives you left are serious feedback abuse and prove eBay were right.

OP2 months agoMakes no difference, if it is 15 years since sellers could leave negative feedback.
You are wrong - I cannot leave a strike if the buyer has asked to cancel the auction, even if the seller refuses to accept the cancellation.
I have been trading on Ebay since 1999, and I know for a fact it was much better when I joined.

Mentor2 months agoI think it's been about 15 years since sellers could leave buyers negative feedback.
Sellers are still able to give non paying buyers a strike and they have consequences.
