Will I still have buyer protection to get a refund in case my phone doesn't arrive?
Summary: baconcheese-426 is concerned about a seller who shipped a phone charger separately from the phone without prior indication on the product page. The seller marked the phone as delivered, raising suspicions of a scam since the phone has not yet arrived. *vyolla* advises that baconcheese-426 has 30 days from delivery to open an eBay return for 'missing' parts and suggests doing so immediately to potentially get a pre-paid returns label or escalate the issue to eBay if the seller does not respond in 3 business days.
So my issue is that the seller had decided to ship two different items (the phone and the phone charger) but nowhere on the product page such a thing was stated.
The seller had only told me about this a few days prior to me receiving the phone charger and once I got the phone charger the phone was marked as delivered when it hasn't been delivered yet.
I'd asked the seller about that and they said it should be here in 1-2 weeks but I was wondering if I will still have buyer protection assuming the seller hasn't had the phone delivered by the end of the two weeks so I could get a refund.
This feels like a scam at this point but I don't want to come to conclusions yet in case they might have a weird way of delivering things but it's just way too suspicious that they would send me something that has low value and then mark my phone as delivered on the ebay page.
This is the product in question for anyone that wants to take a look, but basically, will i still have buyer protection after 2 weeks of having the product marked as delivered?

Mentor1 month agoYou have 30 days from delivery to open an eBay return and select 'missing' parts'.
It does look odd to me too, but your seller isn't a zero feedback new one which is good.
Personally, I wouldn't wait that long to report missing parts, only because I don't feel that it looks good on your part. I'd open a return now, your seller has got 3 business days to respond with a pre-paid returns label or you an ask eBay to step in.
