Why the difference between Order Earnings and eBay Balance amount?
My eBay balance to start out was £0. I sold an item and was given one figure in the Order Earnings. When I went to the eBay balance the amount was nearly 30% less. Any idea why this is, or how I can contact eBay by email to get an answer?

Mentor3 weeks agoeBay may be a lot of things in peoples eyes, but one thing for sure is they don't get fees wrong or values owing. You need to check your payment summary, the items sold click on it you get a full break down of what fees there were.

OP3 weeks agoI'm not saying they've got it wrong. I just want to know why there's a difference, as none of the documentation under Payments etc explains it.
Does anyone have a valid email address for Customer Services?

Mentor3 weeks agoLook at your ebay account all transactions. Everything shows and the balance reflects money in and out.
Money does not just disappear!

OP3 weeks agoThanks. I've not been able to find anything: I see selling costs including transaction fees etc to give the Order Earnings, but nowhere does it say anything about additional fees etc to reduce the total.
