Why sellers don't respond
Why is it that lately that sellers, both business and personal, now don't have the courtesy to respond to potential buyer's questions?
I have asked a seller 4 times a question and they haven't responded and yet have been active on eBay to relist the item but don't have courtesy to reply to a question about said item?very disappointing.

Mentor1 month agoTedious though it is you're always going to get some sellers who don't respond to messages asking about information that's lacking or may be incorrect on their listing. It is discourteous, but there isn't anything in place to force a seller to respond.

OP1 month agoA business seller (actually a charity) didn't bother responding either. I got caught in a loop when tried to contact them but the question I wanted answered never got resolved. Come on eBay ensure members should have courtesy to respond to potential buyers questions. The item I was enquiring about was listed as two different sizes so I wanted to make sure which size the charity were actually listing as didn't want to risk bidding on a UK 7 only to find actually the item was US size 7. Both sizes were given in listing but charity never responded to my question which size was true. I didn't want to risk bidding on UK 7 only to find it was actually USA 7 and for eBay or the charity seller to refuse my return as they would call upon the fact either listing was given but USA 7 equates to UK 5 which makes a big difference to being useful to the buyer who requires a UK 7.

Mentor1 month agoYou would have been entitles to open a not as described return as description was incorrect and seller says return postage.
It is if you open a Does not fit case that buyer has to pay for return., as a business seller has no choice about accepting returns for any reason.
