WHY IS SO HARD TO SPEAK TO A HUMAN
I just need to check why a refund that was promised by ebay member of staff is not showing anywhere. Simple.
I dare you show me how to get the answer using the stupid system.
Please fix this , when a user needs to talk to someone it should be straightforward.
Truly appalling system you guys have in place

Mentor1 week agoRefunds go back to source, and if source was a credit card can take up to 30 days. Debit cards 7 days.

OP1 week agoThanks John, these deadlines passed already.
It was an eBay staff member with authority from the supervisor who told me in a phone call that they granted the refund after the seller disappeared now I can't get them to call me to look into this.

Mentor1 week agoYou cannot call eBay, but if those deadlines for refunds have passed and no refund has appeared you do need to contact CS to look into this, as access to your account is needed.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
