Mentor6 months agoThere is a link in every listing to report it to eBay. If you have actually bought a fake bar, this should be covered by eBay's money back guarnatee if delivered within the last 30 days.
I imagine these bars are listed in another country, as selling precious metals with a fake hallmark is a criminal offence in the UK.
Buyers need to engage their brains before buying from unknown sellers on eBay. eBay even warns buyers in the user agreement that they don't guarantee the quality of items sold here, or that they will even be safe, legal or truthfully described. If a listing offering silver bars worth £100 if genuine for just £5.00 on eBay doesn't ring alarm bells, what will?
