Why is Ebay increasing my postage from the postage i chose
I listed an item a ww1 German battery box and when i got the medium parcel postage it quoted me £5.21 yet when i look at the listing that is viewable to ebayers it shows postage of £6.62 So i went into revise item as i thought i had chosen the wrong postage and no it is there at Simple Delivery £5.21 ? Then i checked all my other listings and it is the same on most of them where the postage is £3.40 for a small magazine and yet in the revise item it shows it as £2.70 so is it me doing something wrong or am i going mad. Also i have noticed some ebayers seem to pay less than me for postage for the same item. I know this sounds stupid but i have never bothered to go through my listings regarding postage before until now. So does anyone know why ebay are changing the postage prices on Simple Delivery. I tried to talk to ebay and was cut off midway 3 times and on the 4th time no one was there so i gave up but i will try again.

OP5 months agoI have been told by Ebay that they have no idea why this is happening and she said she could see how the postage cost had changed from the listing to the summary and has said this must be a technical issue and ebay would get back to me within 24 hours which has not happened so we shall see otherwise i will have to stop simple delivery and change all my items back to the old postage method where i can and cancel any listings where i have no choice of postage.

All you can do is freepost, I.e. include postage in start price.
