Why is buy it now published higher than i listed it?
I have listed an item for £30 auction, £60 BIN. When published it's showing £75.... please help, I know it won't sell for that and my son would like as close to £60 as possible.

Even if the item is located within the UK; if either the UK located Buyer/Seller is using/or has an account that was originally registered outside the UK site , then an additional 20% Import VAT and any other duty is charged.

Mentor7 months agoThere's an error with that listing because it's adding 20% import VAT, and you're registered in the UK and the item location is a UK one, so this shouldn't be happening.
I'd contact eBay and ask them what's happened there.

Mentor7 months agoIf you click on actual listing, no mention of VAT.
Are you selling physical disc or just code, not clear from description.

Mentor7 months agoI does show in the listing that VAT will apply, in any case as soon as there is a bid the BIN disappears, so if it sells it will be a lot less than £60.
I do not see why VAT is added, but you must realise, a BIN price is not a reserve price, reserves are expensive at 4% sold or unsold. You should always start at a price you are happy to sell at.
As said I cannot see why VAT has been added, so you should ask ebay for an explanation, or end listing and try resisting just as an auction at £60 and see if the VAT goes away.

Mentor7 months agoWith reference to previous answer, you are a private seller registered in the UK, but there appears to be no mention of The Buyer protection fee.
Have you on your listing put the name of the country in which it was made, as if so I think this might be the explanation of VAT and buyer orotection.

Mentor7 months agoIts probably due to the fact that the figure shown includes the BPF.
