Why does eBay keep harassing my customers to pay for items they’ve already purchased?
Summary: druids_revenge is concerned about eBay sending payment emails to customers who have already settled their bills, fearing it might upset their best clients. papso22 suggested that the buyer should contact eBay to investigate the issue. red_magpie raised the possibility of these emails being phishing scams, advising to ignore any links and check messages directly through eBay’s official website to ensure their legitimacy.
Does anybody know how I can stop eBay from sending out these payment emails to customers when there are no such payments outstanding? This attached example is a customer who has purchased 7 items within the last month, all payments cleared and items dispatched. I’m concerned that eBay will drive away my best customers as they can’t explain to them why they’ve been sent these chaser emails? Anybody know how to resolve this type of thing?

Mentor2 weeks agoHow many of your customers is this happening to? Only asking because that's not an eBay email address.
If you Google it, it says: This is typically considered a spoofed or fake email address associated with phishing and scam attempts.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedThis has many hallmarks of a scam or phishing email. especially as it includes a link in the message to go to Checkout.
I suggest that you advise your buyer not to click on this link, which may take them to a bogus site designed to capture their password and possibly also fraudulently to take payments . Instead, tell them to log in to their account through eBay's web site and check messages in My eBay. If these messages are really from eBay there will be copies there.

Your buyer needs to ask ebay why this is happening.
