Why does Ebay AI/help not understand this simple question?
Summary: superretroguy expresses frustration with eBay's AI tool, finding it unhelpful and calling for the company to cease using what they perceive as ineffective AI. They suggest that other platforms might be preferable or that an acquisition by another company could improve the situation. papso22 agrees, reminiscing about the older, more straightforward search function and offers a workaround to avoid AI-generated descriptions by loading photos last. superretroguy replies that this solution is not viable on their Android app and suspects that eBay is using users to train its AI.

I'm having trouble understanding that. Please rephrase or add a few details about what you're trying to do. For example, you can say things like "return an item," "cancel an order," or "pay selling fees."
Was this helpful? NO IT WAS NOT!!!!!!
I think it's time ebay STOPPED using bargain-basement AI and stopped ignoring the wishes of it's DECLINING number of sellers.

Mentor2 weeks agoThe old search function without AI that took you to the actual guidance pages was so much better!
The suggestion is to load the photos last as it seems it is the photo that triggers the unwanted AI description.

OP2 weeks ago · EditedThere is no way to do this on the Android App I am using.
I suspect ebay wants us to feed/train it's AI app for them.
