why do sellers have to pay the buyers protection fee
Why do sellers have to pay the buyers protection fee? This has happened several times. On one occasion after all fees had been charged I was only going to get less than £2 from a £5 sale.

Mentor5 months agoIf you accept a buyers offer, it includes BPF, so get less.
If you make an offer to buyer, ebaybadd on BPF.

Mentor5 months agoThey don't pay it. It comes out of the buyer's payment and goes straight to ebay.
Contractually it is a service provided to buyers by ebay, paid by the buyer under the terms of the contract.
You are just perceiving it differently.
