Why do ebay protect scammers you open a case they just close t down
Why do ebay protect scammers they just close your case down they not interested time to go elsewhere eBay can jog on they no better than the scammers themselves

Mentor5 months agoYou can open item not received case 1 day after estimated delivery date, escalate on day 4.
Never let sellers stop you doing this.
As said, try your payment provider.
You can't blame ebay, they provide MBG, you have to use it correctly.

Mentor5 months ago5 weeks takes you over the 30 days allowed. Ebay does not allow exceptions. Why didn’t you read the money back guarantee, it is on every listing?
You can open cases but if it is too late they just close automatically.

If so, it likes you left it too long to open item not received case or seller delayed you doing so.
Case has to opened within 30 days & escalated on day 4.
You may still get help from your payment provider.

Mentor5 months agothe only time a case can be closed against a buyers wishes is, if it's a change of mind on a private seller who does not accept returns or if it's out of time.

For example , which case did you open and for what reason, and were you in time to do so?

OP5 months agodelivery in 5 days ordered it on 6 Feb still not received it eBay been
contacted 3 X times keep closing the case down buyer is in china not London
tried to cancel order buyer won't let me refusing to talk to me and has now
changed his sellers name if that isn't a sign of a scammer I don't know
what is he lied about where he is changed name but eBay don't give a toss
about as much help as a chocolate fireguard it's disgusting behaviour from
eBay but when you as big as them they don't care about us little people I
coming of eBay it's riddled with scammers and eBay does nothing to protect
the buyers

Mentor5 months agoYou had 30 days from the estimated delivery date ebay gave you when you paid to open a case for item not received.
Have you read how the ebay money back guarantee works?
The seller's actions should make no difference to your case outcome.

OP5 months agohim but it turns out he's in china so there's a lie to start with he said
courier in 5 days bought on 6th Feb still not received it tried to cancel
order seller said no now he's changed his sellers name won't reply to me
eBay got involved on 3 x seperate occasions but shut it down every time
saying no mistakes had been made clearly 2:red flags but eBay don't see it
he's a scammer but no one listening still out of pocket

Mentor5 months agoYou can't open more than one case, are you sure you actually opened a case for item not received using the money back guarantee?
That is not cancelling and it's not reporting through the listing.
