Why can we not pass on info re phone numbers after a payment has been made?
Sold my muck truck and wanting to give my phone number to buyer in order get a time for pick up and he has tried to send his phone in order to let me know when he is setting out and ebay will not allow it. Why, when I have already moved his payment into my bank account?

Mentor11 months agoThere should be no reason why you can't exchange phone numbers once the sale is concluded on ebay.
So we can't tell you how to make it work, sorry.

OP11 months agoI can't understand it either. He tried to send his and I thought I'd have a go and it came up with that same message in red about not passing on info.

Mentor11 months agoHave you tried an email address instead? Or they could just message you through ebay when they have an ETA.

OP11 months agoWe are, were, messaging through ebay. Never mind, I'm sure it will all sort itself out. He was going to phone to tell me when he was setting out so I would have an idea of when he would arrive.
