Why can I not mark as dispatched on one of my sales???
I have sold five items to one overseas buyer. They put five items in their basket and paid for them, so showing as one sale.
The system is not letting me 'mark as dispatched' or add a tracking number.
It now shows up as 'dispatch overdue'.
I have never had this problem before - but usually sell individually to overseas buyers.
I use ebay global shipping, so have sent to the depot myself, not using ebay posting.
I am hoping that it will record the tracking when the parcel is scanned at the depot.
To clean up my inbox, I have 'archived' this purchase for now - it is with 'collections' where they never gave me the collection numbers!

Hi @style.1900.originals ,
Thank you for your post.
If it was Simple Delivery orders and a different label was used other than the prepaid one then it won't allow new tracking to be added. However as this is a business account you should be able to add your tracking to the order. Did you get any kind of specific error message when you tried to add the tracking?
Thank you,
Kat

OP6 months agoThanks for the reply Kat. I do not use Simple Delivery. I just charge a price, then pay for Royal Mail postage at the Post Office.
I was unable to add the Royal Mail tracking BUT then one of the items showed up as having the Ebay Global Shipping tracking number, so I copied and pasted this number to the rest of the sold items and that seemed to work.
I have never known an overseas buyer be able to buy several items before and pay postage once, this must be new. If an overseas buyer wants to buy a few items, I usually have to make a new listing just for them with the agreed price for all items plus one postage.
