Why are my price reductions suddenly being disallowed under the Feedback manipulation policy??? | Member To Member Support

So ... 20+ years on ebay and 100% perfect feedback. I'm currently clearing my late mother's house and doing charity sales on ebay. To avoid landfill, I'm dropping the price on non-selling items down low to try and shift them. Then suddenly out of nowhere comes "Your listing is using a format, keywords and price point that are commonly associated with artificially inflating Feedback scores. This is not allowed under eBay’s Feedback manipulation policy.". Why is this suddenly appearing? Is selling things cheaply to avoid landfill frowned upon? What exactly are the rules because the 'policy' page is a bit vague. I am confused.
