Why are HMRC interested?
I have now sold 30 items for about £1k profit in the last month.
As these are my personal items. I thought I would not be under scrutiny from HMRC.
I don't think I'm selling anything else.
Do I have to give my NI details to Ebay and HMRC?

HMRC are highly unlikely to be interested in you, although the use of the word 'profit' in your post is at odds with getting rid of unwanted personal possessions.

OP3 weeks agoPerhaps profit is incorrect.
Recouping some funds but certainly not a profit. £600 bikes sold for £150 and the like.

Mentor3 weeks agoTo add to @papso22 comments if you don’t give eBay your NI number etc they will stop you from selling and with hold funds owing to you until you do provide.
