Why are discussions locked
There are so many of us that have been cheated by bad sellers and there's nothing we can do about it . I,ve come to the conclusion the hard and expensive way ,and that is never buy from. eBay again.

Mentor3 weeks agoIt's nigh on impossible for buyers to be cheated by bad sellers on eBay.
If you'd like to explain what happened perhaps we can help.

Mentor3 weeks ago Β· EditedIt's bad wording. What it means is that on this board only mentors and the original poster can respond to a post.
The way to avoid being cheated is to understand how the money back guarantee works.

OP3 weeks agoHardly a very democratic system then is it.it ensures that disgruntled customers never get to find out how many others like myself there are out there. This is forcing us to vote with our feet

Β·3 weeks agoNo, it's just this board which is set up that way as a quick Q&A type thing for people looking for fast advice on a specific problem. All the other boards are for discussions where everyone can reply to every post and the OP can get opinions from anyone who wants to comment. If you post on the main buyer board here: https://community.ebay.co.uk/forum/buying-7/ then you'll likely get more replies.

Mentor3 weeks agoThis is a member board to ask about ebay issues.
If you want to discuss other matters, there are other boards.
But you still have to abide by board policy. e.g. not defaming other ebayers.

Mentor3 weeks agoThere are other open boards, and all are open for reading.

Mentor3 weeks agoWhat is wrong then with leaving negative feedback, that is what other buyers can see, but it is up to buyers to use the systems available, especially the DSRs which are taken into account by ebay, if a seller has less than 4.7% on any of the ratings.
