When Ebay take over a buyer's query - how do I get an update?
No surprise that the AI 'help' failed to understand my issue so I'm trying some humans ....
I've sold an item. The buyer then emailed me a query. I emailed a response and see on the site that Ebay are now handling the issue. How do I find out if the sale's going ahead so I can post the item?

What was the buyer's query? Did they open a case? Which one?
Has the buyer bought and paid for an item?

OP1 month agoWeirdly I didn't get the usual 'an offers been made' email. Simply a 'payment has been made' email. I was about to post the item (25-14802-73482)
I replied with details and then got an email from Ebay saying they would be dealing with this. Since then nothing. I've just emailed the buyer again asking them to confirm if they want the item. As far as I know there's no dispute. I just need to know if I can post or if they want a refund, so I can relist.

Mentor1 month agoThis message from eBay did it start ' The buyer has reached out.....'. This confusing message just means you or the buyer has sent a message.
If you have received a message that the buyer has paid, you need to post the item to the name and address eBay has provided on the order details.

Mentor1 month agoGlad it's all sorted, I'm the first to admit sometimes eBay messages are a little short of being crystal clear, as to what they are trying to convey !
