When a buyer wants to cancel their order
Hello All.
This must be annoying for any seller, more so a private seller. I listed an item for the auction for 7 days. I had 3 bidders. The winner has made their bid even higher on top of their own bid hoping to win. They did win and 1 hour later they want to cancel the order, because their reason was it was the wrong order. I only had 2 items on my listing and they are completely different. Now, do I decline their cancellation, and get charged to relist, as the second chance is now not interested. Also what if the buyer sends a negative, which would not be fair as they have not paid for the item. Thanks for your replies.

Mentor5 months agoAccept the cancellation and relist the item. when you ready. If they haven't paid there is nothing you can do to reinforce the purchase and it will time out after three days with the cancellation.
If they had paid it will be more trouble then required to send as they will find no doubt a spurious reason to return it, (you then incur the postage costs for the privelage.
There are no charges for relisting as a private seller its free to sell. I would though use sell similar, if you use the relist toggle when you cancel then it relists it straight away.
Reason for cancellation - buyer requested.
Add them to your blocked list so they can't mess things up again for you.
And yes in answer to your first sentence it s very annoying when buyers do this.
