What to do next
So I bought an item on the 11th of November, the seller was on holiday until the 13th, I heard nothing, I contacted them on the 16th asking if the payment had gone through and if there were any issues. No reply.
I them attempts to cancel the item, eBay went to contact the seller, no response.
Ive attempted to contact the seller again, no response and I can't log an item not received because there is a pending cancellation.
I'm out £62 at this point and have no idea what do next, since I can't talk to an actual human being

Mentor10 months agoOnce you've requested a cancellation the seller gets 3 days to accept or deny the request. After that I assume it times out. Therefore you should be able to open an Item not Received case.
If you are still having trouble contact CS and ask them tto open a case for you here eBay Customer Service

Mentor10 months agoYou have to wait until the last estimated delivery date on the listing has passed and then select "Report an item you didn't receive" on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/get-help-item-hasnt-arrived?id=4042&st=3&pos=5&query=Get%20help%20with%20an%20item%20that%20hasn%27t%20arrived&intent=ITEM%20NOT%20RECEIVED&
Escalate it 3 complete working days later to get a refund.
If you have problems with that you can contact ebay by requesting a callback on here:

Mentor10 months agoYou are not out of £62.
On every listing is eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy which explains how to receive a full refund for an item not received.
Just proceed this way if a reasonable time has passed your item's last estimated date for delivery, and you have not received the item.
Then, if the seller is not being helpful, go right of the item purchased, and from More Actions select.... I Have Not Received My Item.
If you are not fully refunded within 3 days, you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case, and eBay will step in and force the refund.
Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give, and do not forget to escalate.
