What is Evri Special Handling?
Evri tracking not updated since 21st July. In trying to find out more information eBay told me parcel has been marked as Evri Special Handling
Any ideas what this means?
Also anyone know of any issues of delivery to collection points in CR2 area

OP3 days ago@*vyolla* @papso22 update Evri parcel ended up in Royal Mail system and they charged the no postge fee. They stuck theirs stickers on ebay simple delivery Evri label.

Mentor3 days agoThis has happened before.
I think the issue is that PO accepts RM & Evri parcels & they sometimes get put in wrong bag, hence no RM postage.
Have you received parcel now?
If not, you could open item not received case & get full refund.
If you have already paid excess fee, no way to force seller to refund you.

OP3 days agoeBay refunding me with money from somewhere and putting in a complaint. Makes sense why tracking stops after dropped off status

Mentor3 days agoIt has happened and I know its so easy to do. we used to have so little space in our PO that the Evri bag was to the left of our 1st parcels sack.

Mentor3 days agoThanks for the update, that's just bonkers. Good that eBay are refunding you and a complaint is being issued.

Mentor1 week agoAre you the Buyer or the Seller in this instance?
Apparently Evri Special Handling is an internal status or service flag used by Evri for parcels that require manual attention or non-standard processing. It isn't a public delivery option that customers can choose.
Depending on the context, it can mean a parcel is being:
Manually sorted because it couldn't be processed automatically (for example, a damaged or unreadable label).
Checked due to damage, unusual size, weight, or packaging.
Investigated because of a delivery exception or tracking issue.
Given additional handling because of specific retailer or business requirements.
If you've seen "Special Handling" in your parcel tracking, it doesn't necessarily mean there's a problem. It usually indicates the parcel has been taken out of the normal automated flow and is being handled separately. This may add a short delay while it's processed.

OP1 week agoI am the buyer. It was an eBay chat bot who told me about special handling.

Mentor1 week agoYou have 30 days after the latest estimated delivery date showing on your order to open an eBay item not received claim, so keep an eye on the calendar.

OP1 week agoWhere can I find the latest estimated delivery? I can only find the one in the email sent saying your package is now with its courier

Mentor1 week ago · EditedFind the order in your Purchase History and go into it, the delivery date will show there.
May I ask when you bought the item? If more than a couple of weeks ago I'd be opening an eBay item not received claim claim now, and let them deal with it.

OP1 week agoHi when i go into the order from purchase history I see a message saying delivery is taking longer than expected but can only find original delivery estimate. This was 3 days but item not shipped until 3 days after purchase which was the start of the estimate.
