What can you do about incorrect item details?
Summary: mjdcandy shared their frustration about receiving clothes from online purchases that were in poor condition despite being described as "great" or "excellent." They mentioned encountering issues such as moth holes, stains, and odors, and feel dismissed by sellers who deny the claims. mjdcandy also noted similar complaints from others and questioned the actions being taken by the platform.
In the last few months I've purchased some clothes. I scrutinized the pictures beforehand. They looked fine.
The items were described as being in "great" or "in excellent condition".
However I've received clothes with moth holes in them. Makeup stains. Covered with human and pet hair. Stained and smelly. Usual response "they weren't like that when I posted them.." I'm feel like I'm being treated like I'm a liar.
Reading online reviews hundreds of people are complaining. Ebay is doing what exactly?!

Mentor2 weeks agoFirstly, you need to use eBay's 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy, this is written on every listing, aside from Classified ads, to be fully refunded.
You ask what eBay is doing about this? If a seller continually sells below par items resulting in returns and refunds, the number of strikes and defects they receive on their account will result in severe selling restrictions even total bans from selling on eBay.
eBay do not like unhappy buyers.
Open those cases, aside from your refund, it notifies eBay of a bad sale , which can lead to the above actions.
