Mentor3 weeks agoeBay won't get involved with warranty issues, they have a 30 day Money Back Guarantee/Buyer Protection and you're obviously way past that now.
Any warranty offered by any seller anywhere is only ever going to be as good as your ability to enforce it when required and, as you've unfortunately discovered, you can't.
If you funded your payment with a debit/credit card or Apple Pay you have 120 days to issue a not as described chargeback via your card provider.
Failing that, if your seller is a UK registered business seller you could contact Citizens Advice or one of the online consumer forums to ask about pursuing this via a legal claim.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou're very welcome.

OP3 weeks agoIt’s an overseas seller, china, so will probably have to go the legal claim way and report them to trading standards.

Mentor3 weeks agoThere is no legal route or TS involvement for overseas traders.

OP3 weeks agoFalse advertisement, saying 2 years global warranty..!!

Mentor3 weeks agoTrading Standards only cover UK registered business sellers, and it's not possible to issue a claim against a Chinese seller and expect a favourable result!

Mentor3 weeks agoYou have no other options here, I'm afraid. There's no such thing as a 2 year global warranty.
