Mentor3 weeks agoYou have 30 days to return an item that's not as described via eBay’s Money Back Guarantee/Buyer Protection, same for PayPal.
If you paid with a debit/credit card or ApplePay you have 120 days to issue a not as described chargeback.
Unfortunately, for something bought that long ago, you're way out of time to pursue a refund.
If your seller is a UK registered business seller you may want to take some free advice from one of the online consumer groups (National Consumer Service is a good one, lots of free legal advice available there) or Citizens Advice regarding pursuing this via a legal claim.

Mentor3 weeks agoThere is no point speaking to ebay once you are outside the 30 day money back guarantee period.

Mentor3 weeks agoConsult Citizens Advice if bought from a Business Seller, if a private seller warranties are rarely transferable.
