Warranty expired, Item broken. What to do?
Summary: kvektor expressed frustration with a seller regarding a refurbished item that broke after the warranty expired. Despite assurances of professional refurbishment, the seller is unwilling to assist, leaving kvektor seeking advice on how to proceed with a costly, unusable product.
Hello e-bay
I have purchased an item on the 12th Aug 2025.
(Anker SOLIX F1200 Portable Power Station 1500W Solar Generator for Camping, RVs)
The seller stated is a refurbished item and been professionally refurbished, tested and certified.
The given 1-year warranty has expired and the item is broken after a few uses. It was £480.
As the warranty has expired the seller does not want to look after my case, and just saying sorry for my problem, But I can not let £480 fly out the window.
If this is a professionally refurbished, tested and certified item, they must have the capacity to take it back and repair. Unfortunately I have no means to repair it.
Can you advice please.
Kindest regards
