Virtual item sold

Question

So i sold a virtual item, they paid. i gave them the stuff. but like since i havent delivered the buyer anything physical like a parcel, i havent gotten the money into my account yet. what should i do?

I do hope that this moves forward without any issues and that you do receive your payment (as a new seller and because you have no tracking number to prove delivery eBay may hold your payment for up to 30 days), but bear in mind that you've no proof of delivery and your buyer may claim that they haven't received their item, in which case that money will go back to them.

You are not allowed to sell what you did in the way that you did. Your buyer could get a refund by using the money back guarantee and opening a case for item not received. You would lose that.

There are reasons ebay has rules.

You have a couple of issues here - you offered postage, which I take it you didn't need, and you listed this item in the wrong category.

Payment should be paid to you within 14 days, you only sold the item yesterday!!
